The Pan-African finance institution, Shelter Afrique, which supports the development of affordable housing and real estate sector in Africa, has unveiled its plans for Ivory Coast and francophone West Africa.

The agreement officially signed with the Ivorian government in Abidjan last week, will see shelter Afrique begin operations for Francophone West and Central Africa from their Abidjan base.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, which was attended by senior management of the financier and the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Ivory Coast, the Managing Director of Shelter Afrique Mr. James Mugerwa, commended the Ivorian government for always been a willing partner, noting that Shelter Afrique had successfully hosted its Annual General Meeting in Abidjan in 2014.
