The 2017 Nigeria Housing Finance  conference will hold 28th- 29th November, 2017. The underlying theme of the conference is based around exploring new and innovative ideas on how to ensure access for all to adequate, safe and affordable housing.

It will provide a platform to exchange views and experiences and derive the key operational conclusions for policy makers and housing finance practitioners.

It will also create awareness on the major challenges in developing or strengthening housing finance markets and seeks cooperation for better solutions.

The conference will further bring to the fore the need to put in place policies for sustainable housing finance while sensitizing stakeholders on special intervention windows for housing by the Central Bank of Nigeria and other Development partners.

It will attract an audience of policy makers, practitioners and investors and key housing finance institutions from across the globe including the African Development Bank, the CBN, the Federal Ministry of Finance, International Union for Housing Finance and the National Pension Commission.

Others are FCT Administration, Head of Civil Service Of the Federation, Federal Ministry Of Budget, Federal Ministry Of Power, Works and Housing among others.

As part experience sharing agenda of the conference, it will feature success stories from Singapore , Malaysia, Germany, Mexico, India, South Africa and Kenya.

A number of Papers will be delivered including: Financing Housing sector at single digit interest rate: realities, possibilities and necessities while the lead speaker will be Ambassador Dr. Adeyemi Dipeolu , the Economic Adviser to the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
