The organizer of Abuja Housing Show Barr Festus Adebayo has called on foreign participants set for the forthcoming 10th Abuja Housing Show to invest in Nigeria’s affordable housing scheme saying that President Muhammadu Buhari’s led administration has good plans for foreign investors.
The annual Abuja Housing Show which is a one stop-shop for real estate stakeholders is scheduled for 18th to 20th July, 2016 with the theme, “Expanding Access To Affordable Housing in Africa”.
In a statement made available to reporters, he noted that the event would be declared open by Senate President Bukola Saraki while the honorable minister for Housing, Works & Power is the chief host for the event. Also he said that participants in 10 countries of Turkey, China, Netherlands, UK, USA, Ghana, South Africa, Ireland, Kenya and Brazil and 200 indigenous companies have confirmed their participation.
Adebayo who is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of FESADEB Communications, producer of Housing Programme on AIT and Housing Time on RayPower commended the Minister of Housing, Works & Power, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola on his affordable housing summit which he believed would contribute immensely towards the development of the sector.
He pledged his unflinching support for the ministry’s programmes saying that the Minister’s presentation to House committee members on low cost housing across Nigeria would be deliberated during the Abuja Housing Show.
The housing promoter maintained that Nigeria needed support from international financial organizations to re-engineer the mortgage system stressing that speakers from Spain, South Africa, USA, Gambia and Nigeria have been carefully selected to deliver lectures on diverse topics.
